Ben Haber - Founder of Caliber Studio & Podcast Producer

Ben Haber is a producer of feature films, television, and podcasts. He is currently co-president of Caliber Studio, a podcast network focused on creating and building original brands both scripted and unscripted with top talent from the film and TV industry and audio business. Haber conceived of and produced the Academy Awards-nominated Beatles’ musical ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, directed by Julie Taymor and starring Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess. He went on to Executive Produce the hybrid feature THE SMURFS MOVIES franchise at Kerner Entertainment, the first of which was the 9th highest-grossing movie worldwide that year.

Haber left Kerner and produced the acclaimed iHeart scripted audio drama AFTERSHOCK starring Sarah Wayne Callies, David Harbour, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan which released its second season in August 2023.

In addition to his work at Caliber, he is also producing a primetime animated series based on the acclaimed comic strip POOCH CAFÉ at The CW with Kevin Biegel (COUGAR TOWN, ENLISTED) and Byron Kavanaugh show running. Haber is a graduate of Northwestern University where he double majored in Theatre and Mathematics. He earned his MFA in Motion Picture Producing from USC’s The Peter Start Producing Program.

Sarah Wayne Callies

Sarah is an actor, writer, and director and a dual citizen of the US and Canada. As an actor, Sarah is best known for starring in hit television series, including “The Walking Dead” (Lori Grimes), “Prison Break” (Sara Tancredi), and “Colony” (Katie Bowman).

Last season, Sarah starred in the ABC series “The Company You Keep” alongside Milo Ventimiglia. Prior to that, Sarah led the NBC series “Council of Dads” and before that the NatGeo limited series “The Long Road Home” as well as Sundance TV/CBC’s “Unspeakable”.

On the directing side, Sarah has helmed multiple episodes of “The Good Doctor”, “Firefly Lane”, and “Fire Country” as well as episodes of “Family Law’”, “Colony” and “Unspeakable”.

This season she is set to direct her first episode of NBC’s “The Irrational” and return to “Fire Country”.

As a writer, Sarah has several screenplays in development with various TV and motion picture entities. She also co-created and wrote all 20 episodes of iHeart radio hit audio drama “Aftershock” starring David Harbour and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

As a film actor, Sarah has starred in Giancarlo Esposito’s “The Show”, Warner Brothers’ geo-thriller, “Into the Storm”, “Pay the Ghost” opposite Nicolas Cage, “Black November” and 20th Century Fox’s “The Other Side of the Door”.

Additionally, Sarah is passionate about humanitarian efforts and was the first ever ambassador for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) with whom she has worked in half a dozen countries worldwide for over a decade.
